Exhibition: The Art Of Isolation
We are very happy to announce that New Art Studio will be showing work as part of a larger exhibition focusing on artwork made in lockdown.
Our WhatsApp art making and sharing was very active during lockdown; not only did it keep our isolated members connected and sane, we also produced some incredible paintings.
This exhibition is a larger show open to all artists who were making art during lockdown. It’s important for our members because it introduces them to and involves them in the art world outside of asylum living.
Most pictures are for sale, and the show runs from 18th of July – 1st of August. Come along to Surrey Quays and be inspired. You can’t lockdown imagination.
