The word courage comes from the Latin cor, meaning “heart.”
For refugees worldwide, courage is a daily necessity. It means facing unknown journeys, learning new languages, navigating unfamiliar systems, and stepping into an uncertain world each day.
This exhibition aims to illuminate the healing power of the arts, encouraging us to reconsider how we can work through our own traumas and experiences through creative processes.
This exhibition is managed by UCLH Arts. UCLH Arts is the creative health project that serves the UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and its surrounding community. UCLH Arts is committed to providing a welcoming, uplifting environment for all patients, visitors and staff through a varied and stimulating arts and heritage programme. Its work aims to improve the patient experience, boost staff morale, increase engagement with the arts and celebrate the Trust’s unique heritage and community.
